Las Vegas During the Holidays

When you think of Las Vegas, you probably think of endless entertainment. That’s true even during the holidays. No matter what you feel like doing for Christmas or New Year’s, you can probably find it in Vegas. There are plenty of shows and attractions to keep you entertained. Read on to plan your time in Las Vegas during the holidays.

Las Vegas at Christmas

If you enjoy shows, you’ll find plenty of holiday-themed performances. There’s All Motown and Frankly Frank so you can get your fill of holiday outfits and Christmas carols. The Bellagio also creates a large Christmas display that includes a 42-foot tree, 10-foot-long train, and giant snow globe. You can also watch the Bellagio Fountains, which have been choreographed to Christmas carols.

Better yet, head outdoors and immerse yourself in the real Christmas experience. Glittering Lights is a drive-through light show that draws in visitors from all over. Enjoy 170 lighted trees and 3 million lights in total. This course goes for 2.5 miles and lasts until January 6.

It’s not winter without ice skating. Enjoy rooftop ice skating, hot beverages, and fire pits at The Rink, located at The Cosmopolitan. There’s 4,200 square feet of ice and even light snowfall.

Enchant Christmas is a fun family event. Located at Las Vegas Ballpark and Resorts World Las Vegas, you and the kids can enjoy an ice skating rink, a children’s play area, a Christmas village with vendors, and even an appearance from Santa Claus.

Ringing in the New Year in Vegas

You can bet that the biggest and craziest New Year’s Eve party is in Las Vegas. The Strip is shut down completely, making it one huge block party. You think the ball drop at Times Square is huge? You haven’t seen the massive fireworks display that happens in Vegas at the stroke of midnight. In downtown Vegas, you can catch live performances by Sugar Ray, All-4-One, and other acts. You can take a ride on the High Roller, a 550-foot Ferris wheel on The Strip. You can also opt to stay indoors and check out shows by Blue Man Group, Tenacious D, and Cirque Du Soleil.

Opt for an Escape Room for a Unique Experience

If you’re not into the party scene, you can still have fun in Vegas during the holidays. One way to do so is to try an escape room. Escape rooms are all the rage, and for good reason. They’re exciting and fun. If you enjoy solving problems, an escape room is a good way to get the adrenaline going. Enjoy an escape room with friends, family, or co-workers. They’re fun for the holidays and other events.
